"Who is this
wizard?", you may ask yourself. Well, the
wizard in reference is none other than the Chameleon. I believe the
chameleon to be the wizards of the lizard world. With their ability
to change colour; their ability to stretch their tongues
up to two times their body lengths; their prehensile tails that
could serve as a fifth limb; and their amazing capability
of seeing in two directions simultaneously... now thats what i
call biological MAGIC!!
The intent of this website is to celebrate
these mini-wizards, and to provide some information about chameleons
and their captive care. In this website, we are going to focus
on two particular species of chameleons, the panther
chameleons(Fucifer Pardalis) and the Mt. Meru Dwarf
Jacksons chameleon (chameleo jacksonii merumontanus). Click on the
little pictures to your left to navigate through the site.
